FLEET Convention 2025: Vienna Hofburg
Austria's central fleet management event: Stand 48, Hofburg Vienna, 24 June 2025
Austria’s fleet community, one room, one day.
On 24 June 2025, the FLEET Convention returned to Vienna’s Hofburg Palace, the most important date in the Austrian fleet management calendar. Industry panel discussions, the BEST4FLEET Award, keynotes on employee mobility, and a packed exhibition floor. Rosenberger Telematics was there at Stand 48 , alongside partner Traka Germany.
On stand: Christian Meschnig (CEO, Rosenberger Telematics), Friedel Hacker (Managing Director, Traka Germany), and Yvonne Wagner (Marketing & PR, Rosenberger Telematics).
What visitors saw at Stand 48
The conversation at the stand centred on one question fleet managers come to this event to answer: how do we make shared vehicles work without adding administrative burden?
The answer demonstrated live: Commander’s corporate car sharing module , integrated with Traka key management. The complete flow, from vehicle booking in Commander through to keyless key release via the Traka cabinet and automatic cost-centre attribution on return, was shown running on real hardware.
For fleet operators attending, the most compelling aspect was often the elimination of manual steps. No key custodian. No booking conflict resolution. No end-of-month reconciliation between booking records and accounting. Commander and Traka handle it automatically: every trip attributed, every key movement logged, every cost centre updated in real time.
Efficiency and safety, integrated
The 2025 FLEET Convention also featured discussions on e-mobility: bidirectional charging, dynamic electricity pricing, and integration with fleet management workflows. For Rosenberger Telematics, the relevance is direct: Commander is hardware-agnostic. Electric vehicles are managed alongside combustion-engine assets, with the same real-time location data, the same trip records, and the same reporting available in one interface. The transition to a mixed-EV fleet does not require a new telematics platform.
The Traka partnership demonstrated at the stand reflects a broader approach: Commander does not try to solve every problem in isolation. Where a best-in-class specialist integration delivers better outcomes, like Traka for physical key management, Commander is built to connect.
