International Telematics Award: Three in a Row
Construction Industry category: third consecutive Telematics Award win, 280 entries competing
Three Telematics Awards. One consistent platform.
The International Telematics Award, awarded by telematik-markt.de, went to Rosenberger Telematics for the third time, this year in the Construction Industry category. Out of 280 competing telematics solutions, 40 were nominated across eleven categories. The winning entry: a complete OEM solution for construction equipment, municipal vehicles, and special machinery, built on the Commander platform.
Three wins across different categories confirms what no single award can: a platform that solves real problems across multiple industries. The same software core, Commander, has now been recognised for M2M telematics, driving telematics, and construction telematics. The capability is broad. The platform is singular.
What the jury recognised in 2020
The Construction Industry entry centred on Commander’s OEM telematics capability: a wheel-guided silo sensor solution for precise filling quantity determination across silos, containers, and bins. The solution uses hardware developed to automotive industry standards, a dedicated commissioning app, and the Commander platform for real-time data processing and reporting.
All data is hosted in ISO-certified Austrian data centres. Machine manufacturers receive a complete, white-label-capable telematics stack, hardware, connectivity, and software, from a single supplier.
The award record
- 2012, M2M Telematics category: closed fuel chain solution for theft-proof vehicle and machine refuelling
- 2018, Driving Telematics category: complete OEM tractor platform for Lindner, integrating high-quality hardware with Commander
- 2020, Construction Industry category: wheel-guided silo sensor with precision filling quantity determination
Why the OEM model works
Machine manufacturers need telematics that works out of the box, integrates with their product, and carries their brand. Commander’s OEM and white-label module provides exactly that: reliable data acquisition, transmission, and processing, with the flexibility to present it under the manufacturer’s identity.
“Whenever reliable data acquisition, transmission and processing are required, Rosenberger Telematics is the specialist.” Three Telematics Awards confirm it.
